There are a very limited number of ~30’x45′ camping sites available at a cost of $35.00/day, which include 20 amp electric service and water access.  Tent sites, without water or electricity, will be available for $25.00/day.  Please review the map of the campground.  

Campsite reservations are on a first come, first served basis. Bring your Printed Receipt to the Check-in Booth. This will be how your purchase will be confirmed and any additional Camping Parking Passes will be issued.

Personal Port-a-Johns may be reserved for $100/weekend with advance payment.

Payment for campsites includes two admissions into Balloon Fest per day for each day of paid camping. Children 42″ and under are FREE.  Additional campers in your group must pay $5/person/day.

Camping Rules:

CAMP SETUP HOURS – Friday, August 31: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Campers arriving after 4:00 PM on Friday will be turned away as the festival opens at 4:00 PM. If you are late, there will be no refunds. Please arrive early! Camp set up hours for new arrivals on Saturday, September 1st, or Sunday, September 2nd, are from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM each morning. Campers on those days who arrive after 12 Noon will be turned away. If you are late, there will be no refunds.

DEPARTURE – Campers not staying the following night in the same campsite must depart Saturday and Sunday mornings before 8:00 AM. Campers who stay Sunday night must depart before 10:00 AM on Monday, September 3rd.

OVERSIZE CAMPERS – RVs must fit on the 30’x 45’ campsite. NOTE: there are NO pull-through campsites.

PETS – Pets will be allowed, subject to the following rules:

      • At all times, pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 8 feet.

      • Owners must pick up after pets.

      • Pets must not leave the camping area.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

      • All pets must have proof of current shots.

      • No excessive barking of dogs will be allowed.

ELECTRIC AND WATER – Campers must provide their own water hoses and extension cords to receive services.  Recommend no less than 100′ of hose and 50′ 12-gauge extension cord.

QUIET HOURS – 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. All gas/diesel generators must be turned off by 10:00 PM. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS!

VEHICLES – No ATVs, Golf Carts, Mopeds, Skateboards, Scooters or any other similar devices are allowed, with the exception of those permitted for handicap transportation. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed and impounded.

PARKING – No parking except in designated parking lots or on your designated campsite. You are permitted to have only one vehicle on your campsite, unless you purchase an additional Camping Parking Pass. If illegally parked anywhere, your vehicle may be towed and impounded, with a fine. Harvard Balloon Fest is not responsible for vehicles towed due to illegal parking.

LIABILITY – Every campsite must be registered to an adult over the age of 21 who will accept responsibility for the campsite. If you are evicted from the site for any reason, you will not receive a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL – You are camping in Milky Way Park, a City of Harvard Park. NO outside alcohol permitted. Under Age Drinking will NOT be permitted in Milk Way Park on the event grounds. Anyone found participating in or contributing to underage drinking will be brought to the attention of law enforcement personnel, and will be evicted from the grounds immediately without refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

TRASH DISPOSAL – Please bag and tie all personal and campsite trash and place in the designated dumpster. Campsites with open or loose trash on them may result in eviction with no refund.

CAMPFIRES – Open flame fires are NOT permitted. No Campfires. Charcoal and propane BBQs are ok. You MUST have a metal receptacle for your used charcoal to prevent fires and damage to the park grass. DO NOT dump charcoal on the ground!

NO SOLICITATION – No solicitation, including but not limited to: food, beverage, merchandise, and entertainment. Unauthorized selling of items will result in seizure of merchandise, eviction, and possible prosecution.

Do’s and Don’ts:

The following ARE permitted:

      • Charcoal or gas/propane BBQs

      • Generators (must be turned off at quiet hours)

      • One Vehicle Per Campsite, unless a second

      • Camping Parking Pass has been purchased.

The following ARE NOT permitted, and are all grounds for eviction:

      • Ground Fires

      • Wood-Burning Fires

      • Glass Bottles/Containers

      • Weapons

      • Cruising

      • Fireworks

      • Live Music Performances

      • Swimming Pools

      • Dance Floors

      • Staging/Other Structures

      • ATV’s, Golf Carts, Mopeds, Bicycles, Skateboards, Roller Blades

      • On-Site Soliciting

Harvard Balloon Fest reserves the right to evict any persons on the grounds of, but not limited to, garbage-filled campsite, drinking and driving, alcohol consumption brought from outside, excessive noise, unauthorized sale of food, beverage or merchandise on site.  Harvard Balloon Fest reserves the right to refuse admission, or eject, any person without refund who is violating Local, State, or Federal Laws, or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by staff.
