We are now taking reservations. There are a very limited number of ~30’x45′ camping sites available, which include 20 amp electric and water access. Campsite reservations are on a first come first served basis.

Please review the map of the campground; the sites are consecutively numbered and are available for $35/day. Personal Port-a-Johns may be reserved for $100/weekend with advance deposit.

Bring your Printed Receipt to the Check-in Booth. This will be how your purchase will be confirmed and any additional Camping Parking Passes are issued.

CAMPING RULES:

CAMP SETUP HOURS – Friday, September 1st: 10:00am – 3:00pm Campers which arrive after 3:00PM on Friday will be turned away as the festival opens at 4:00PM. If you are late, there will be no refunds. Please arrive early! Camp set up hours for new arrivals on Saturday, September 2nd, or Sunday, September 3rd, are from 8am – 10am each morning. Campers on those days who arrive after 12pm (noon) will be turned away. If you are late, there will be no refunds.

DEPARTURE – Campers not staying the following night in the same campsite must depart Saturday and Sunday mornings before 8am. Campers who stay Sunday night must depart before Noon on Monday, September 4th.

OVERSIZE CAMPERS – RVs must fit on the 30’x 45’ camp site. NOTE: there are NO pull-through camp sites.

PETS – Pets not exceeding 50 pounds will be allowed, subject to the following rules:
At all times, pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 6 feet.
Owners must pick up after pets.
Pets must not leave the camping area.  NO EXCEPTIONS
All pets must have proof of current shots.
No excessive barking of dogs will be allowed.

ELECTRIC AND WATER – Campers must provide their own water hoses and extension cords to receive services.  Recommend no less than 100′ of hose and 100′ 12 gauge extension cord.

QUIET HOURS – 11:30pm to 6:30am All gas/diesel generators must be turned off by Midnight. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS!

VEHICLES – No ATVs, Golf Carts, Mopeds, Bicycles, Skateboards, Scooters or any other similar devices are allowed, with the exception of those permitted for handicap transportation. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed and impounded.

PARKING – No parking except in designated parking lots or on your designated campsite. You are permitted to have only 1 vehicle on your campsite, unless you purchase an additional Camping Parking Pass. If illegally parked anywhere, your vehicle may be towed and impounded with a fine. Harvard Balloon Fest is not responsible for vehicles towed due to illegal parking.

LIABILITY – Every campsite must be registered to an adult over the age of 21 who will accept responsibility for the campsite. If you are evicted from the site for any reason, you will not receive a refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL – You are camping in Milky Way Park, a City of Harvard Park. NO outside alcohol permitted. Under Age Drinking will NOT be permitted in Milk Way Park on the event grounds. Anyone found participating in or contributing to underage drinking will be brought to the attention of law enforcement personnel, and will be evicted from the grounds immediately without refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.

TRASH DISPOSAL – Please bag and tie all personal and campsite trash and place in the designated dumpster. Campsites with open or loose trash on them may result in eviction with no refund.

CAMPFIRES – Open flame fires are NOT permitted. No Campfires. Charcoal and propane BBQs are ok. You MUST have a metal receptacle for your used charcoal to prevent fires and damage to the park grass. DO NOT dump charcoal on the ground!

NO SOLICITATION – No solicitation, including but not limited to: food, beverage, merchandise, and entertainment. Unauthorized selling of items will result in seizure of merchandise, eviction, and possible prosecution.

DO’S AND DON’TS:

The following ARE permitted:

Charcoal or gas/propane BBQs
Generators (must be turned off at quiet hours)
One Vehicle Per Campsite, unless a second Camping Parking Pass has been purchased.

The following ARE NOT permitted:

Ground Fires, Wood-Burning Fires, Glass Bottles/Containers, Weapons, Cruising, Fireworks, Live Music Performances, Swimming Pools, Dance Floors, Staging/other structures, ATV’s, Golf Carts, Mopeds, Bicycles, Skateboards, Roller Blades, and On-Site Soliciting are all Grounds for Eviction.

Harvard Balloon Fest reserves the right to evict any persons on the grounds of, but not limited to, garbage-filled campsite, drinking and driving, alcohol consumption brought from outside, excessive noise, unauthorized sale of food, beverage or merchandise on site.  Harvard Balloon Fest reserves the right to refuse admission, or eject, any person without refund who is violating local, state, or federal laws, or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by staff.

2018 CAMPSITE RESERVATION TERMS & CONDITIONS:

CAMPSITES – Harvard Balloon Fest Campsites cost $35 per night. Reservations must be made from www.harvardballoonfest.com via PayPal. The per night Campsite cost is subject to a non-refundable 5% processing fee.

PRIVATE PORT-A-JOHN – Campers can add a private Port-a-John on which they can install a self-provided small padlock to prevent unauthorized use.  Cost of a private Port-a-John is $100 for the entire weekend and will require a $100 deposit in addition to the Campsite Cost. Unfortunately, Campers who only reserve a single night but want a private Port-a-John are still subject to pay the full $100 fee and Deposit.  Deposit will be refunded if the Port-a-John is clean and has no damage.  Port-a-Johns receive service on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Both the Port-a-John Cost and Deposit are subject to a non-refundable 5% processing fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY – Campers may cancel their reservations before August 15th for a full refund, less the Non-Refundable Processing Fee. Cancellations after August 15 will receive NO REFUNDS for the Campsite or Port-a-John.

REFUNDS – Refunds for cancellations prior to August 15th will be processed as soon as possible.

NO TRANSFERS – Campsites and Port-a-Johns are NOT TRANSFERABLE to another camper.  The person reserving the campsite and/or Port-a-John must check in for setup for the time reserved.

RULE VIOLATIONS – Campers found in violation of Campsite or Festival Rules will receive NO REFUND.
