Cheryl Niemo & The Down Home Boys
has sung with several different bands, but her current band, Cheryl Niemo and the Down Home Boys, plays throughout northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. She loves the songs that have roots in America’s story, folk songs, songs from singer songwriters like Gillian Welch, Patty Griffith, John Prine, and Emmy Lou Harris. Her voice is compelling, and she delivers a song with heart-felt emotion.
played for 38 years in a band called Live Bait. Currently he plays with the Stage Leftovers at Stage Left on the square of Woodstock, IL. He plays guitar, flat picking, finger picking, sometimes with a slide, and occassionally he will wail away on a harmonica. He sings harmony with Cheryl.
plays mandolin and 5 string fiddle. His playing is delicate and tasteful, and a joy for all to hear. He is a maker of fine stringed instruments (violin, mandolin, guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele), and the only thing that can make his instruments better is to hear them well played. This he does.
